Gawadar was off the mark as they qualified for the Leisure Leagues National Championship finals scheduled in Karachi from July 28.
Gawadar beat Quetta convincingly by 3-0 to win Baluchistan Regional Leisure Leagues Championship and advance to teh next stage.
They have become the second team to qualify for the Leisure Leagues National finals after Karachi’s Abdul FC. Two more teams have to qualify for the four-team event in Karachi.
The four teams will compete to get a ticket to Greece where the second edition of the Socca World Cup is to take place from October 12 to 20.
It is pertinent to mention here that last year Lahore’s ICAW represented Pakistan in the inaugural edition of Socca World Cup in Portugal.
