KARACHI: All players, supporting staff and management, who went to Abu Dhabi from Pakistan, have tested negative in on-arrival COVID-19 testing.
According to the sources, all people who landed in Abu Dhabi yesterday were tested for the first upon their arrival and put into a bio-secure bubble at a local hotel. All tests came negative and they all will be tested again after three days.
Meanwhile, chartered flights carrying broadcasters from South Africa and India respectively are yet to get the green signal to take off for Abu Dhabi.
It must be noted here that PSL 6 is expected to be played in Abu Dhabi from June 5. Except for 25 people, other players, PSL management, officials from Pakistan have reached Abu Dhabi. The revised schedule of the competition will come out once everyone involved in the completion of the event reaches Abu Dhabi.
