Gibbs, Du Plessis, four others arrive in Abu Dhabi for PSL 6 remainder

KARACHI: A chartered plane from South Africa carrying players and Karachi Kings’ head coach Herschelle Gibbs has reached Abu Dhabi where Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6’s completion phase will take place.

Quetta Gladiators’ Mohammad Nawaz, Faf Du Plessis and Cameron Delport, Multan Sultans’ Rilee Rossouw, and Peshawar Zalmi’s David Miller were also on board. All six people have reached Abu Dhabi safely and entered the bio-secured bubble.

Meanwhile, a chartered plane from India carrying broadcasters has also reached Ras-El-Khaima. They will now travel to Abu Dhabi via bus and join the tournament’s bio-secured bubble.

It must be noted here that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is still waiting for visas of 25 people in Pakistan. These 25 people include Sarfaraz Ahmed, Mohammad Hasnain, Iftikhar Ahmed, Musa Khan, and others.
