Pakistan’s quests Mohammad Bilal and Asjad Iqbal will meet in the final of Best of 13 in 1st SAARC Snooker Championship 2019 in Sri Lanka.
Bilal and Asjad beat their Indian counterparts Sundeep Gulati and Laxman Rawat Sundeep, respectively. Bilal outclassed Gulati by the score of 6-0 while Asjad beat Sundeep by 6-4.
“I am satisfied with my performance and it is a proud moment for me to beat an Indian counterpart. The match against Indian player has always been an exciting one,” Bilal expressed his feelings after winning the match.
Asjad, on the other hand, is also happy that both Pakistani players beat Indian quests. “Nothing happier than beating India. It was a tough match but I stick to my plan and achieved a victory,” he said.
It is pertinent to mention here that Asjad and Bilal will play the final match of the mega event on September 6.
