Major General Umar Bukhari takes helm as DG Rangers Sindh

    KARACHI: Major General Umar Bukhari took command as 14th director general Rangers Sindh on Saturday, ARY News reported. 

    In a ceremony held at the Rangers Headquarters, the outgoing DG, Major General Muhammad Saeed, handed over the command to Major General Bukhari.

    Major General Bukhari was recently promoted from the rank of brigadier to major general.

    Later, Major General Bukhari and Major General Saeed called on Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

    During the event, the chief minister also presented Sindhi ‘Ajrak’ and ‘Topi’ as a gift to both the officers.

    According to the Sindh CM’s spokesperson, the chief minister appreciated Major General Saeed’s services and welcomed the new DG Rangers.
