Former Test cricketer Basit Ali highly criticized the Pakistan Super League (PSL)’s season five schedule which failed to maintain equality among the franchises.

“I don’t know who has made this one-sided schedule of such a big event. It is unfair with Karachi Kings, obviously, to get only five home matches. It is not a domestic tournament, it is PSL and a whole independent committee is there to make decisions,” said Ali in ARY News’ ‘Sports Room’.

The cricketer-turned-analyst also criticized authorities for scheduling three out of five games of Kings at home ground in day time. “It is yet again injustice. I am confident that Karachiites love Kings and they will come at National Stadium Karachi to support their team anytime,” he maintained.

It must be noted here that Kings have been given just five matches at home ground. Lahore Qalandars will play eight matches at home ground while Multan will host their home team Multan Sultans in all three matches scheduled there. The scheduled made Kings’ fans disappointed.
