Eating Disorders are described as illnesses that are characterized by irregular eating habits and severe distress or concern about body weight or shape.

In these disorders people experience harsh changes in the eating habits which are linked with their emotions, thoughts and cause disturbance. People become anxious about their body weight and food in eating disorders.

Anorexia Nervosa

Anorexia Nervosa can be destructive for the body; people who live with this can face brittle hair and nails, thinning of the bones, growth of fine hairs on all body and infertility. In some severe cases it may results in brain, heart and different organ death or failure.

Bulimia Nervosa

It is also another type of eating disorder. In short period of time persons with bulimia constantly eat large quantity of food. Males and females who experience bulimia may feel severely sad with their body shape and size, and may have a fear of gaining weight. Gastrointestinal problems, heart difficulties consequential from an electrolyte discrepancy, severe dehydration and other injuring effects can have due to bulimia. Following are some symptoms of bulimia nervosa:

  • Painful throat and chronically inflamed.
  • Salivary glands beneath the jaw and neck turn into swollen; puffy face and cheeks leads to develop a face look like a chipmunk.
  • Enamel of tooth wears off.

Binge eating disorders

People with binge eating disorder constantly lose control on their eating habits. Unlike from the other eating disorder, occurrence of binge eating are not pursue through the compensatory manners for example fasting, too much exercise and purging.

People with binge eating disorder are frequently got overweighed and obese. The risk of medical issues may increase that are associated to overweight for example stroke, type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
